As part of the L’Oréal Canada For Women in Science with the support of the Canadian Commission for UNESCO, Dr Alicja Gasecka (second on the right), postdoctoral fellow in neuroscience, physics and optical microscopy, received one of two awards in Excellence Search L’Oréal-UNESCO 2015, worth $ 20,000 each. This initiative wishes to support major research projects undertaken by postdoctoral Canadians.
