Damon received the “Best Overall Poster Presentation” award at the Canadian Neuromodulation Society 10th Annual Scientific Meeting that was held on February 4-6, 2018 in Whistler, British Columbia. The title of his poster : Fiber-based tissue identification for electrode placement in deep brain stimulation neurosurgery.
Jasmine Poirier has been one of the two canadians who had the opportunity to attend the Summer School in computational neuroscience in South Africa “IBRO-Simons Computational Neuroscience Imbizo 2018”. It has been a great and unique experience that our group research will benefit from. Welcome back!
The 7th edition of our ‘Frontiers in Neurophotonics’ summer school that will take place in beautiful Québec city from May 28 – June 7, 2013 is open for application. Please note that there is a limited number of places, and that the deadline to apply has been set to March 1st.

Daniel just returned from the Physics of Quantum Electronics conference in Snowbird, Utah where he presented the Applications of the Coherent Raman technique for following neurodegenerative disorders. All he can say is that the view is awesome, and his Hamiltonian hurts. He was also “Runner-up” in the best abstract competition.
