Prof. Côté and collaborators Profs. Younès Messaddeq, Tigran Galstian, Martin Parent,  neurosurgeons Drs Léo Cantin and Michel Prudhomme and their partner Genia Photonics were awarded a 3-year grant of $600,000 from NSERC and CIHR’s Collaborative Health Research Grant program on “Optical guidance during neurosurgery for deep brain stimulation electrode implantation in the treatment of Parkinson’s disease”.
